About the Customer

Our client is a Softbank backed technology-driven offsite construction company. Its integrated technology offering connects BIM tools and computational design directly to its global supply chain infrastructure for ease of material ordering, manufacturing, tracking, and delivery. With materials and products arriving at construction sites just-in-time and ready to install, their job site more closely mirrors a process of precision sequenced product assembly.

The Goal

The company wanted to develop a cloud-based construction automation software. They wished to build a solution for end-to-end land parcel development. It wanted to enable an algorithmic, rule-based nesting functionality in the software to find out of how many units could fit in a given area.

At the same time, the company wished to develop a system which supports generative design for building designs, completely automated framing, electrical wiring & plumbing process etc.

The Solution

• nCircle developed a cloud-based online configurator and iOS APP for end-to-end land parcel development
• Developed Nesting algorithm which creates plan of building to find out how many units could fit in the given boundary limits
• The nCircle team developed Automation software to calculate Bill of Material required for particular building.
• Finally, the nCircle team built an IOS app to visualize the factory panels for accurate placing of walls panels on site
